I honestly just stay away from the topic of Geno at this point. The discussion is so poisoned and polarized that there's no point in having it, and my position on Geno seemed to cheapen the worth of everything else I wanted to comment on.

The Geno hate started years before Schneider traded him. One could argue the hate on Geno on dot net was part of the reason why he wanted out, I think @keasley45 and @Maelstrom787 might agree with me. Geno decided to leave after reading dot net and realizing John Schneider agreed with experts on dot net.
