Both should get a standing ovation. Geno destroyed Russ's career in one game. That is worthy of a heralded response from the fans. Pete woulda had a statue if not for 49. ...
I forget about that particular game at times.
Definitely should be on some “top” list of our most satisfying wins.

IMO, Pete should absolutely get a warm welcome.
I have no effs to give either way in terms of Geno.

Pete will get a standing O and I am looking forward to seeing that. Long story as to how this conversation happened, but I got to ask Luke Willson for his opinion on the QB movement in Seattle. Rather than Geno being "disrespected" his opinion was Geno loved Pete and did wanted to go to the Raiders to play for him, ie he orchestrated the move as much as the Hawks did.

I wonder if some outspoken social media "Hawk fans" will attend in their shiny new Smith Raider jerseys.

Geno was never and never will be even in the same stratosphere as Russ was. F Geno. Sincerely. He can take his "disrespect" and shove it.

Glad Russ is gone, glad gePICK is gone and it was time for Pete to be gone. Pete deserves a HUGE cheer from the fans, and he'll get it.
Geno hasn't earned anything. He put up good numbers between the 20's and played in ONE playoff game. He sucked a** against elite teams. Dude was a turnover machine last year. The only thing Geno deserves is an Earl Salute.

Good luck with that, Pete.
So not a Geno fan, huh? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Anyone who is a "Hawks fan" and buys a Geno Raiders Jersey........was never a Hawks fan in the first place.

Pete was nothing but a great coach here. I could never bring myself to feel negative towards him at all.

Geno on the other hand didn’t want to be a Seahawks any longer so he’s 100% fair game for the boo birds IMO

Don't forget his kryptonite was the endzone

Do not boo Geno. His trade to the Pete Pirates got us Jalen Milroe and a bunch of cap room. Same for DK, he got us Emmanwori, Damien Martinez and a ton more cap room.
Without these two wanting out of Seattle we wouldn't be in the position of the future looking so bright.
A polite, appreciative but measured applause is the least we can do for their help in turning our franchise around.

Kinda like Darnold is? 😂😂
WRONG WRONG WRONG

Darnold is not part of the problem like Geno, Darnold is part of the solution. Darnold will power our OL to top 12 if not top 8. To save our OL, Schneider (1) got rid of Geno Smith, DK Metcalf, and Tyler Lockett, all three were part of the dead weight that pulled our OL down. (2) signed Darnold, Lock and Milroe, all solutions.

Pete will get a huge reception from the fans. Geno should get a warm welcome. He was more than a place holder, he was a Seahawk for 5 years, and the starting QB for three winning seasons. I don't get the Geno hate here. It kind of disturbs me.

I don’t hate him but he wanted to leave so I feel obligated to boo. Plus he’s not my favorite

The Geno hate started years before Schneider traded him. One could argue the hate on Geno on dot net was part of the reason why he wanted out, I think @keasley45 and @Maelstrom787 might agree with me. Geno decided to leave after reading dot net and realizing John Schneider agreed with experts on dot net.

I honestly just stay away from the topic of Geno at this point. The discussion is so poisoned and polarized that there's no point in having it, and my position on Geno seemed to cheapen the worth of everything else I wanted to comment on.
