Can he play guard? or Tackle?

Sorry, that was cynical. I'm actually super stoked for Harvin. He was the perfect off season acquisition, imo.

The best thing about Harvin is we can run alot of short passes and he can take it further with TONS of YAC

Offensive line was not an issue at all today.

The lack of a true #1 receiver certainly was.

Not an issue "at all"? He was pressured and/or hit on almost every play. Luck had all day by comparison and he went up against a better D-Line.

Not to mention the fact that everything we're doing to compensate for our weak line is taking away from receiving options.

J: He's multifaceted. :D

English: I wouldn't say the O-line isn't an issue but I thought the same about the receiver situation.

I must've watched a different game then.

Wilson isn't going to drop back and throw quickly. He's all about getting out to the perimeter and making plays. It's what he does. Wasn't he sacked once? I seem to remember Luck getting hit for a fumble and at least one other sack. Plus Luck was running around at times too and made some plays.

Offensive line was not the problem today.

Not to pick on Lynch because it was an anomaly but Harvin scores on that play that bounced off Lynch
s jersey.

I'd like to see more completions over the middle , but i'm going to give Wilson a pass on that due to the O-line but at some point that needs to get better.

We keep thinking harvin is the savior and our O will be just so great well if we can't block worth a crap it won't matter.

This, slants, cuts and curl routes need to be implemented on 3rd downs.

We blocked well for the vast majority of the game.

Tell me how many times you heard Robert Mathis' name in this game? 7.5 sacks coming into today. Wilson sacked once on the last play of a half heave.

We had something like 190 yards rushing in one half, then ran Lynch just five times in the second.

This obsession with the line is bizarre. How about the receivers not named Doug Baldwin get open and make a big play?

I guess you didn't see Wilson running for his life all day. I know that he can do it, but that does not mean we want him to have to do it. Like all Qbs, Wilson is better from the pocket. It is harder to see the field when you are scrambling for your life, and it is much harder to throw accurately on the run.

I thought the OL played extremely well. Not only was Wilson clean, but with so many scramble plays, there was hardly a sniff of a hold. Carpenter looked very stout in particular.

We allowed 30+ points. Wilson left TDs on the field with very NFL open receivers. It wasn't his best day throwing and yet we were in it to the end.

I am mildly concerned that the passing game, particularly the missed open receivers is a consistent issue. I wouldn't go all out and blame WRs. Baldwin, Tate and Kearse made excellent plays on balls that bailed Russell out too. Ultimately, this was a game that the defense should have salted away and didn't. I'm still encouraged by the fact this team, even in it's misfiring state, can keep the game winnable against a quality team on the road.

Championships are won in Nov/Dec. We have not put together a consistent performance yet. Plenty of time to get right. We're gutting it out well thus far.

They did fine today considering the line and Rice will increase his production. When Harvin comes back his presence will take a ton of pressure off the Line, Wilson and frankly every other offensive player on the field.

No defense can cover the WR screen AND the middle of the field. Be assured that PH and Tate will be split and Rice/Baldwin are going to get zoned up. Tate and Harvin will be able to take short passes for 7+ yards often.

That was my thought all game long.

Harvin/Tate/Baldwin is a great combination.

I'm over Sidney Rice. Whatever they did in Switzerland wasn't enough.

Protection schemes (as ineffective as they were) are what covered our receivers today.

Extra blockers on the line play DB extremely well.
