I'm obviously not a Giants fan, but seeing what a hot mess they are really makes me believe that, if Pat Shurmur wants to keep his job, he needs to see what he's got in Jones by starting him the rest of the season. Eli is not, and will not be getting any better, he has literally peaked and there is nothing that can be done about it. Committing to Eli would be sabotaging the team.

Normally, this kind of thing wouldn't bother me, but I think I've reached the point where I just pity the situation they're putting themselves in. I think Eli should just do his team a favor and retire already, it's pitiful watching him go on.

Should have traded him to Coughlin the minute Foles went down.

I think it was Florio that intimated that the decision is not in Shurmner's hands because the ownership wants Eli to play. If true, another example of what lousy ownership can do to a team

Well it would be some funny ass shit if the Jets signed him in some sort of deal and he took the Jets to the Playoffs.

Eli Manning taking the Jets to the playoffs with Adam Gase at the helm? I can't even picture that happening, no matter how hard I try.

The Giants didn't cut him, they just benched him. He's not going anywhere.

Such a Giants thing to do. Keep Eli and trade OBJ, only to bench Eli week 3.
