I rather have Mafe and Bryant and Jobe instead of Shaheed. Walker at 15mill isn't worth it.

I don't get it why JS didn't tag Mafe and trade him just like he did with Frank Clark.

You'd rather complain about EVERYTHING the team does. Just admit it.
They just won the damn SB, and you're whining about everything. Settle down, Mr. Grinch.

They're cheap, but it makes sense when you factor in that they're selling the team. Everyone needs to give up their hopes that it's going to be bought by some eccentric fanboy looking for NFL immortality. Whichever soulless billionaire and private equity firm purchases the team won't care how good the players are, they just want return on investment, which means keeping long-term liabilities off the books.

We had a good run. This is our reality now.

Organization just won the SB. They're doing just fine and will continue to do just fine. This is just the start. This team is built to be good for a long while.
All in how you look at it, I guess.

Yes, they will, and they're going to be great for a while. It's ok to be wrong, and you will :)
They won't be bad because you say they will. Kind of goes both ways. I can't imagine thinking this team that just won the damn SB is somehow going to have a big falloff. Oh well, I don't understand a lot of strange takes.

I have been a fan of this team since game 1, 1976 and the last thing I would call the current management is cheap. JS has earned my trust for sure, it is still early and I get the feeling that the trust I refer to will only grow in the next 10 months.

It's not possible to be "cheap" in the NFL. They are required to spend 90% of the 2024-2026 cap before the end of this season. So, unless you consider only spending 752 million, out of a possible 835.8 million, being cheap, then no it really isn't possible to be cheap.

The Hawks do have to spend around 60 million in free agency to be in compliance with the requirement. Largely this is due to having QB's that took only 25-20 million AAV over this time span, and a WR corp that costs about the same as one top tier WR. I guess you could call that cheap. It's going to look a lot different when we extend JSN and Darnold.

If you want to compare Mafe with Frank it’s like comparing a varsity player to a JV player. Mafe has had a few moments but nothing consistent enough to warrant a tag.

I think we will miss Bryant but maybe we can find a replacement. We need a RB option but if we can shore up Right Guard our running game should be fine. We won’t have the home run threat that K9 presents but if defense can maintain I’m not worried about it.

There are a couple guys faster and bigger in the draft, we will have to see, Bryant they wanted to keep, but our value chart and salary did not match what was offered, you don't keep upping the ante once that happens you look at who else is out there in the draft and F.A..

The organization has a lot of money to spend on to it's players, yet they are so cheap.

I think Walker got overpaid, but the prices that Bryant and Mafe got, were very close to what the team should had paid for FA.

Lucas and Cross and Sam is paid. Is the organization just going to save up money to pay JSN and Spoon?

If this is the case, I would feel bad for the players that did get drafted and are not stars like Spoon or JSN.

It has nothing to do with how much money an organization has, this isn’t MLB and the salary cap actually means something in the NFL. It’s up to each team to place a value to each player/position and not overspend. A team isn’t going to re-sign a guy at any cost and have continued success.

Also, let’s not forget that free agents have the ability to choose the team they want to play for and that won’t always be the Seahawks.

I mean, this "cheap" organization is clearly not capable of winning a SB.......oh wait, they've won 2 and should have won 3 under JS.

And how do they get the best return on investment? #1 by being a good winning franchise. Thinking this team is done is an odd take.
