Yup. Getting out physical-ed the way they did by an unranked team no less was in such contrast to Saban's teams. They gave up over 230 yards on the ground, and only ran for 74 yards themselves. Manhandled at the line of scrimmage. Fun fact: Since 2007 in games where Alabama was favored by at least 14 points before DeBoer arrived they were 131-2. Since DeBoer took over last year they are 4-4 in such games.

As a UW fan, he left a bad taste in my mouth when he bailed on us for Bama. There was nothing remotely classy about it. UW hired a largely Division II head coach out of Fresno State, gave him a big time opportunity, great salary that was increased for him, and he treated the program and the fans like they were just some po-dunk stepping stone for his illustrious career. He turned out to be a phony. I was like good luck following Saban at Alabama. Enjoy your money, because the fun's not going to last long.

He could have stayed at UW and been an untouchable legend. At some point, the grass is rarely greener on the other side (and he was at that point).

Kalen Deboer will be fired soon is my guess. Bama got their fudge packed by an unranked team

I get fsu isn’t ranked, but they also went 12/0 just two years ago. Last year was a disaster for them, but I bet they are a top 3 team in the ACC when the season ends.

Apparently, it would cost Alabama a 65 million dollar or more buy-out to get rid of DeBoer this year. That's a lot of wasted money, and you still have to pay the new coach.

At some point, they'll have to consider long-term damage to the Alabama football brand. If he doesn't get the program back into the elite category this year, I'm not sure they'll risk further erosion next year.

Bama is going to erode no matter who's at the helm. The second Texas joined the SEC and NIL money became the norm Bama lost it's edge. They'll be middle of the pack in the SEC for years to come

$65 mill will go a long ways in South Dakota

As a BIG fan, I’m a little worried UCLA can get smart and fire Foster, hire DeBonner, and pull together the money to get Cal fr QB Sagapolutele. Who looks like a Penix clone

$65 million is chump change to the university and boosters last night Alabama got pushed around the LOS on both sides that can’t keep happening. IMO Deboer is not the guy they need as HC

They are good. The disrespect is real. They were undefeated and got snubbed on the playoffs for…. Alabama….. yesterday prolly had a little meaning

Belichick getting his ass kicked. Should have stayed retired. I’m thinking this is exactly what will happen to the raiders most of the year also.
