In most of the draft discussion threads the topic of each pick v the available OL has been front-and-center. The ever-present anxiety over the OL in Seattle practically dictates that it's seen as a priority. ...always. That's fair. I'm not saying it shouldn't be a hot topic.

However, I've been surprised that I haven't seen John Benton's name in any of these threads. If we're trusting JS and MMac, aren't we also going to trust that Benton's got this ?

I think they could select a lineman if the value is there but I feel they like their line (it did win a SB last year) I think they like their line guys they drafted last year as well.

They pretty much draft at least one OL every year. I thought they might pass this year with how few picks they came into it, but they used a '27 pick to snag Stephens. Looks like another mauler to throw on the pile. Can't really argue against it.

By my count, they've got 7 guys on their last year of their contracts. Of course some of these guys might be extended / re-signed. But that's a pretty big hit to the depth.

Maybe we grab an OT or OC in the 6th.
