There's going to be a few thousand references to Bosa being out, and few thousand more claims that Metcalf wasn't in bounds on that catch.

Well it's true, the Bosa thing is an asterisk, even for me. Thing is, Geno IS clutch. Yes he can play badly now and then, but overall he's a good QB that gets much less credit than he deserves. Our line still sucks and I still think K9 is good but nowhere near great (overrated).

I'll take this though. Was our superb owl for the year. I mean I still hope we make the playoffs but my faith is sorely lacking. I just don't believe we have either the O-line, or the linebackers to make any kind of a run. Our defense is improving though. I just think MM lacks the motivating powers of leadership that Pete had. Pete was getting tired schematically, but still had the leadership, with MM it's just the opposite. It would be great if Pete truly ws "in the building" I think MM could learn a lot, and it would take real humility on his part, but he could develop quickly as a leader and coach....

Ah fantasy, it's better than bein' a 12 (this year, for the most part, but not today!)

We are one win next week away from first place
Yeah but the Tards are not the same old tards. Murray isn't the great they think, but they running game is scary, in part because of him, and we do not contain mobile QBs well. I'm happy with this week being our superb owl. I got fooled by our 3-0 first place start. I melted down for three weeks, then I "got help"...

The tards D is improving too. Naw, I don't like our chances, but I will hold on to my hope, just not my faith...

Oh, and Harrison Jr. well he's gonna end up smashing all of Larry F's records, even with Kyler at QB, if he is, that whole time.

Lucas wasnt in full time either.

So Bosa was lined up on our 4th string RT and wasnt exactly a factor.

They can cry all they want

Yeah I know. I kinda consider Geno and "A tier" QB. Just inconsistent enough he'll never get to "S tier", but has the talent, and it clutch as can be. He got screwed by the Jets. The Jets blow, and poor Ewin lost again. I wonder who he tosses under the bus this week? Surely it can't be Mr. Ego who is to blame right?

But then, I've always been on the Geno bus, even if I have hated many other aspects of this team. I think he is "the guy", to get us to the next guy, cuz the value for money is big time there.

Holy Smokes. their season is over, let's start the rebuild, Kyle is overrated and needs an OC, Purdy has a noodle arm.

It's popcorn worthy reading over there. Not much different than here after a loss. :p

I find them and the bears fan bases pretty similar to ours tbh

I don't think so. If we win next week, and the Rams beat the Eagles, then there will be a three way tie, with Us owning the head to head over the Cards, the Cards owning the head to head over the Rams, and the Rams owning the head to head over us. So it would go to divisional record, and the Cards would remain on top, having won 3 divisional games to our 2.

If the Rams lose, then it's just us and the Cards tied, and we take first by virtue of the head to head.

Meh. If we can beat the 9ers we can beat the Cardinals.

I resemble those remarks! I don't usually meltdown so badly, but I was SO hopeful after our start, and personally it's been a bad year. I did find some help with it though, so things have improved and such...

IDK if I agree there. Yeah, Purdy is mobile, but he's no Kyler. Lamar Jackson destroys us every damn time. I believe we can beat the Cardinals, I just don't believe we will. It's in Seattle so that gives the Tards the clear, and decisive, home field advantage. (Not sarcasm unfortunately.)

In Az, we are more likely to beat them, as it's a more evenly split crowd, but then again, as well as they're doing, their fans are probably not selling off their tickets like 12s do, so heroically, to "support" our team! So could be they have a "double homefield advantage" in game 2. Still Pete had our guys really excelling on away games, and Mike has kept that trend, so even so, hostile turf is where we shine, for some reason. Maybe that's a Geno quirk too?

Cardinals are a better team than the Niners right now (health). I still think they are the second place team in the division this year. We can beat them, but it will be harder than Niners or Rams.
