Call it petty, call it self-preservationism, call it whatever you like but I am not watching, listening to or reading any comments from the national media about this game. Honestly I could care less what any of them have to say (especially ESPN and similarly talking heads and click bait mediots) about the Seahawks. Outside of those like Daniel Jeremiah, Mark Schlereth and the like, I just don't care.

Early in the week I made the mistake of listening to a national show and all they did was basically talk about how and why the 49ers will win. Very little credit given to us, which of course is not shocking, I'm used to it, but I've decided to boycott any other media between now and after the game.

I have a firm conviction of what I think will be the outcome of the game and I don't need any noisy click baiting desperation BS to sour my mood.

You're not missing much. They put Sam's big red ginger smiling face right on the thumbnail with some James Bond movie title sounding headline and spoke about the entire TEAM for less than 2min out of like a 11min clip I watched earlier 😂🙄. The national mediots are allergic to earnestly discussing this Seahawks team and coaching staff even when Mina is at the desk. Fuq em. They'll have no choice once Coach Mike & the squad are walking out musty ass Levi's stadium with the gorgeous Tiffany & Co. Lombardi and Portagas in their mouth!

I heard the same and even the nfl broadcast called our coach…Mike Daniel’s! It shows how out of touch they are and they focused the whole game brief on how the niners will win. They also did a piece where they walked around New York with a pic of Mike and only one person out of 120 Got his name correct. This shows how poorly the media is covering the hawks. I now have turned off the network and the so called experts. I only wish I could get the hawks broadcast during games but still must listen to the Gobble fest that will come this weekend from the announcers covering the niners.

GMFB does a piss poor job of offering any real meaty segments of the Seahawks. I swear they go out of their way to cover every OTHER divisional game this weekend but the Seahawks/9ers which just floors me. The only Seahawks mention today in a 2 hour show was at the very end, like you mentioned, where Kyle Brandt is interviewing New Yorkers who claim to be NFL fans, asking if they could recognize and name Mike's headshot. 1 person out of over 100! ONE!

I do like what Kyle said though at the end. He said "I have a feeling after this weekend, everybody will know who Mike Macdonald is."

Surprised how many in the media picked the whiners. I hope we leave no doubt on Saturday. They all think Shanahan will have them more ready, but to your point, they haven't done their research on MM. It's all just about generating clicks and engaging the large markets. #Weknow.

Game seems to be who we should be playing. I'm glad it's the Niners. I think we win it. But, win or lose, they massively exceeded my expectations. Gotta' play mistake free.

Me too but……

Don’t the expectations escalate when things have gone as they have?

This season has far exceeded my preseason expectations, my expectations are now the NFCCG.
WIN the NFCCG, and my expectations will be to win the whole thing.

“expectations” are fluid in this context…..

….even though you didn’t ask for my opinion.

Please stop watching that BS show.

The ratings need to drop so they will do a complete rebuild.

1 out of about 15 segments are worth the time it takes.

Mike Macdonald is a singer, became famous with an old band, DOOBIE Brothers, had a little success as a solo artist.

Seriously though, stop tuning into that cesspool, you lose Football IQ every time you do.

Aros you know these things, we once again will have to kick the door off it's hinges, make a coddled media team look bad, and then rub it in their faces. LOB and Marshawn had the right formula, it's all about us, nobody else matters.

Then after it becomes etched in Stone those that try to climb on and come in as apologists can eat Seagull droppings, that's as close to the Seahawks they will get.
