I 5, 405, 18, 167 all having shutdowns and reductions, so that one cluster, add police staffing, then add lack of parking, and then transit being overloaded. Not sure where they are currently doing construction in Seattle, but it is also nonstop rerouting traffic. Biggest issue though is competing for TV time with a Mariner playoff run starting for the first time in like 30 years and the NFL not wanting to share that spotlight of vice versa. Mariners have had the me first mentality always when it comes to Seattle.
"Construction in Seattle" is always, never but still currently happening but no actual construction, or just currently happening.

They love shutting down the bridges during the weekend.

Hopefully it stays the same. Was looking forward to a night game for the first time

Not as immediate as yours, but I’ve got a surprise trip for my son to see the Kraken on Tuesday and Hawks on Thursday on Dec. 16 and 18. Don’t need any of this shit flexed that week. Can’t believe they’d flex the Hawks and Rams… hopefully. My son has no idea for a few weeks yet.
We play IND on Dec 14th. I'm taking my son.

The only way this effects MNF on 10/20 is…

Ms make the ALCS and there is a game 7

It’s certainly a possibility but I’m not super concerned at this point.
Also, there's a good chance the ALCS Game 7 would be in Toronto anyway. So many things would have to fall into place. M's make it to the ALCS, Yankees or Red Sox upset the Blue Jays, and the ALCS goes 7 games. I wouldn't be too concerned.

Great job Dad.

Not joking.

My profile pic is when I flew my daughter to her first game circa 2010 and I have a a video of my 10 y/o son exiting a section tunnel and seeing the field or the first time years later. I’ll never forget the look on his face.

He will forever treasure the time and memories spent with you this December more than anything in the world.

Let me know if you are ever in Utah for any reason during hockey season, and I’ll take you to a Mammoth game.

Was there potential for this to have happened back in 2022? I believe it was a home game vs the Cards?

It seems utter insanity that a game that won’t be scheduled until late this week, can preempt a game that has been scheduled for months.

Glad I decided not to bring my daughter over for this one. We would have to miss the last quarter to make our flight home.

Least it's for a good reason
Good reason?

It’s Baseball!

Well over 150 games a year.
Do you really believe a Baseball game should preempt a NFL football game on MNF that’s been on on the schedule for months?

Move game 7 to Tuesday night.
That simple, problem solved

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

It’s been a huge thing in AMERICA for a million years.

*not literally
