I would have gotten married the day before to my first love (Nov 9th), while spending a-what-we-can-afford honeymoon in the city that I love most in the world, Seattle, and my other beloved, the Seahawks will most likely be ending that day with a 9-1 record.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

(Mods will probably move this because they are good at their jobs but before they do...)

Anyone have any suggestions for good eats and places to be while in Seattle for 3 nights? To clarify we will be hitting most of the tourist attractions (via CityPass). What I am talking about are the "hidden gems" spots that hardly anybody knows about but true Emerald City residents.

After the Hotel and CityPass, I will have... err... we will have around $600-900 spend, with the range being how much gift money we get from guests. So about $600 for certain.

Thanks for your time and sincerity in advance.

Move it? Hell we want to help you have a good time.

Sorry I haven't gotten the string about places/things to do in Seattle. To many things going on at once.

Good luck

I don't know if it's "hidden", but Brouwer's is a Belgian style bar with some of the best pommes frites you may ever have. (French fries are actually a Belgian invention, except in Belgium, they deep fry them twice in duck fat. So they're fantastic.) They also have an extensive beer list, and it's where I'm going on November 2nd when I'm up in Seattle for the game.

If you are steak person, stay a night at the Inn at El Gaucho, eat at El Gaucho and watch a movie and cocktails at the small theater underneath El Gaucho. It's all concentrated in one building yet is in the heart if Belltown so a lot of the Seattle night life is walking distance.

If the weather is descent, go to Ballard and visit the locks then work your way to golden gardens beach park and pick up a Cuban sandwich at Paseo's. Or a burger/shake at Redmill/Totem House.

Ride the Ducks! It's super touristy, but even for a local I think it's the best way to see most of Seattle in a short amount of time.

During the day go to Gasworks park, best view of the city from across the water IMO.

Ride a ferry to somewhere, not Bremerton maybe Bainbridge island if you make a day trip. Some good food and wine around there I think.

Ferry is a great idea and I would recommend Friday Harbor. It's worth noting the weather there is usually better than in Seattle but the town and trip is beautiful.

I saw the Duck the last time I was in Seattle. I think it is pretty cool tho I have not rode. I think that is the one the goes under water?? I have heard of that one too. Maybe next time. Above all, have fun.

There is a really cool HUGE Ferris Wheel right on the Waterfront boardwalk.
$15/person for about 20 minutes, but from that height you can see everything in the Emerald City...
and chicks dig it!

Awesome make out spot.

Totally worth it.

Congrats brotha....I'm a steak guy and I think Jak's is spectacular. http://www.jaksgrill.com/ Also, the Melrose Grill in Renton is on par... http://www.melrosegrill.com/

Both places are low key but fabulous quality food. Whenever it's the wife and my anniversary or birthday, we go to one of those spots and are rarely disappointed.

I hope they look after the duck better than they do over here. A couple of weeks a go the duck burst into flames on the Thames and everyone had to jump into the river.
