I disagree. That wasn't the same old Cardinals, but we finally looked like we can make a very good team look like they can't compete with us. That's why this win was so satisfying.

That Cardinal defense was A+. Their offense is one dimensional and the Hawks got some pressure. That was a great win and yes the Cardinals can be beaten and hopefully the Hawks showed the rest of the league how to do it. The Hawks earned this win, the Cardinal defense played great and with Marshawn hurting this win was huge.

Like the Rams, the Cards have drafted and made moves with one thing in mind: Beat Seattle / SF. So when either team plays us hard, it shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody. The talent gap in the NFCW is lessening. We are not ourselves this year and Zona won games they should have lost (as we did last year), but it remains clear to me that until one of the other 3 get a QB better than Wilson, we should win this division. We may run out of time this year for that to happen, but IMO, it is still the reality of the NFCW.

Teams that go to the playoffs and make the SB are the teams that get hot at the right time. I hope Seahawks is that team we know and love and is getting HOT right now. This win does wonders as far as finding our identity and our swagger back. Sure, the Cards didn't have Larry Fitz or their starting QB but you are who you are on that day... just like we are who we are those past games. Hopefully we take this momentum as the team and play like underdogs again. Go Hawks.

Solid post Loogie. A win in SF and this season takes a sharp turn north. You get the impression the D has decided IF this team ends up just another SB statistic...nobody's gonna' be pinning that sh*t on us. It's the D getting us hot and will likely have to keep us hot. They have their hands full against an improved Kap on Thursday.
