Kearse has always seemed lazy to me, not like a choose to be lazy but sometimes his body language is weird.

Anyone else notice that?

Kearse is a Seahawks Legend in the Playoffs.

Is he worth what we are paying him? No

Is he worth his roster spot atm? Nope.

Would I thrown him the ball in the back of the endzone from the 1 yard line to win the SB? Yup.

Look at what Kearse does in the playoffs... some guys are just Derek Jeter when the games on the line.

Lol you do recall 2 of Wilson's 4 ints in the nfc championship were great throws kearse flat out dropped right? One game winning catch doesn't make up for those.

Nor do 2 deflected balls undo everything he has done.

If I recall we won that game. Who caught the game winner?

I take end results when it comes to Football. Hell Russel just threw 5 ints 2 weeks ago, we lost that game.

Well, you should also mention that 2 of those picks vs. GB were not on Russ. And in the NFC Championship, you could say the EXACT same thing about Kearse. He was brutal in that game other than one play.
Great play of course, but he is what he was at UW, feast or famine. Way too inconsistent to get as much playing time as he does.

Pretty sure on one, maybe even both. Kearse was diving to try and make a play on a badly thrown ball.

I used to stick up for the guy, but he looks lazy out there. He missed way too many passes, and rarely seems to create separation. He's not half the Receiver that Baldwin is.

I don't think Kearse is lazy, everyone says he's one of the hardest workers in practice and the weight room.

But he does have a loafing gate to the way he runs that I think makes him look like he's not moving fast enough.............and lets be honest, there's a reason he went undrafted. He's not fast enough, or tall enough, or has amazing hands, or a fantastic route runner.

He's on this team cause of what I mentioned, Kearse is a hard worker, and Pete likes those type of overachiever hard workers.

But I was done with him last year, and this year he's twice as bad. When good teams double and bracket Doug and Jimmy? You better make some damn plays as the guy with single coverage.

Jermaine Kearse, despite having 3 of the top 5 catches in Seahawks history, has been a lightning rod of controversy among Seahawks fans. Despite the mixed reviews, Seattle signed Kearse to a second contract worth $13.5M over 3 years. Kearse has, so far, followed up his new contract with easily the worst season of his career. He’s on pace to have the fewest yards in a season since he became a fixture in the passing game, along with the lowest catch rate and yards per catch of his entire career. He’s also yet to score a touchdown this season.
