The one against the Cards is #8. I think the reason the Beasquake gets #1 here is because of the circumstances, not just the play in a vacuum. Because if you throw out the circumstances, I don't think it's an easy argument (arguable, just not so easy) for #1 given some of the runs by guys on the list like Payton, Campbell, Brown, etc. I feel like there is some recency bias in the list, but man is it fun to watch this stuff.

That stiff arm on that Hearst run (#5) is pretty OMG too.

Also as much as I like Russell Wilson and his impact, Lynch changed the identity and trajectory of this team so much I think he's my favorite from the Carroll era.

Yeah that Hearst stiff arm was badass. I think I was watching that game at the time if I remember correctly.

And was running right towards our end zone. I've never went more crazy after a play, other than the tip of course. Such an incredible play.

Well deserved. The only play to ever factually generate actual seismic activity in NFL history. I literally thought CLink was gonna collapse. What a night.

I have never gotten tired of watching that run even though that is probably the NFL highlight I have watched more than any other.

I got to see in person the run against the Cards in Arizona and another signature Beast Mode run in Houston, although that one didn't go for a TD.

I'm jealous.
That Houston run made the top 100 Seahawk plays that were posted here and rightfully so.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE me some Marshawn Lynch, but even with "The Beast" long gone, let us be honest, Russell Wilson is STILL racking up the accolades., which is VERY TELLING, he is still hovering around the TOP FIVE in just about every category, and as far as I'm concerned, he's quietly playing his way into history & the HOF.....NO DOUBT about it, Russell Wilson is the undisputed face of the Seahawks Franchise.

I love me some Wilson too best QB the Hawks have ever seen we won a Super bowl with a great defense and on the back of Lynch now that this is Wilson's team hope he gets one on his back he should of been rookie of the year the QB's that were drafted that year is there any of them left?.

Check out the run stats that Wilson contributed, which HELPED keep the Defenses honest, which in turn HELPED the Run game to flourish it was NOT JUST Marshawn Lynch, nor was it JUST the Defense, it was stellar play by THE WHOLE TEAM, that got us the Lombardi.
Case in point, 2015 when ML wasn't even playing, Wilson & Baldwin kicked ass, though some attributed that second half of the season stretch to " Baldwin Is The Leader Of The Offense "
No doubt that Lynch earned the title of "The Beast", he absolutely was, BUT, it is also a fact that it was the ENTIRE Seahawks TEAM that got us that Lombardi.

That’s totally fair. Lynch gave this team a memorable playoff moment before we truly became THE team. Russ is still my fav Seahawk as I think he was the flour to the overall cake. But that’s just me

Although one could argue that the original Beast Quake in the playoffs vs. the Saints had the larger, long term impact as it set the tone for the teams that followed, the one in Houston IMO had the most impact on the game. We won that one in overtime on our way to our first Lombardi and that run ignited a comeback and set up a TD. The ones against the Saints and Cards came in the midst of blowout wins and were more frosting on the cake than they were contributing to the win.
