The team has to announce it and I believe only on the 4th quarter. Once announced they set up in a more traditional line up

I'm not even going to bother learning the new kickoff rules. The kickoff is dead to me. College football just adopted two-minute randomness, so, I can expect to see the NCAA kickoff die a similar death.
