Wow. I didn't expect that kind of drive against Indiana there. Impressive.

Man, they put a lot of pressure on Mendoza to convert on 3rd down...but he does it.

SUCK IT MIAMI. Rat said Indiana would be exposed tonight 🤣🤣🤣

They just won the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP by beating Miami AND the refs.

I cant stand Miami. Their fans are like the niners and rams. More like niners but I currently am hating the rams more for this week only

boring end to a boring season
You are insane.

That was one of the greatest moments in college football in over a decade. Maybe longer.

That a doormat program can suddenly flip the script and win it all? In 2 years?
Mindblowing.

UW is passionate about its football. And used to be a tremendously respected team. Beat one of the greatest college football teams of all time. (That Miami team). Considered one of the top programs out there (not recently but for the most part).
We have ONE National Championship. And every UW grad, myself included, still cherishes that.

Oregon has been doing EVERYTHING to build a NC team. For over 20 years! They would do ANYTHING to win one. And yet...Indiana won one. You have no idea. This is incredible.

That Indiana can do that. In a hard fought, physical game - where the refs were doing their best impersonation of the refs in the Seahawks-Steelers SB? Holy crap.

Boring??? Insane.
Great game. And incredible, incredible moment for all of CFB.

Special teams screw up decided this game. Every single team runs the exact same offense. (No under center. Clappity clap cadence.) Most playoff games were blowouts. I recognize and respect your points made. I am just spoiled by the NFL I guess. I am very much insane BTW, and also a freak, and a OSU beaver fan.

Respect for being a Beaver fan. And that is the point.

Remember all the amazing players brought to OSU under Erickson? Guys like Chad Johnson, TJ, Steven Jackson, etc? How OSU was not just good...but VERY good under that regime?

(OSU got screwed. Killing the Pac-12 sucked....)

Now look at where CFB was going. The SEC was trying to argue it needed a full half of its conference in the playoffs. Bigger conferences were trying to push out the others, turning the playoffs into a glorified SEC championship with some invites for the Big 10 and maybe a few others.

But IU showed that you don't need that crap. That hiring a great coach (like OSU did with Erickson) can make a big difference. Now, sure, IU is IN a bigger conference...but the tide is turning because the argument is now made that anyone can win it.

And as for the special teams thing? That was the IU thing all year. They forced and capitalized on the other team's mistakes. That wasn't a fluke. It's a feature.

You are welcome to your opinion. Just confused why you don't see how IU winning isn't better for CFB and even maybe good for fans like at OSU.
