Awesome, seems to me that instead of the Seattle group backing out like stern and sac wants it's possible the opposite could happen and sac might be forced out due to it getting too expensive.

In a statement issued on his Sonics Arena website, Hansen described the move to raise his bid as “an effort to further demonstrate the extent of our commitment to bring basketball back to Seattle.”

He's more than made it clear that he's playing by the rules that the NBA provided and he's basically daring them to make Stern a liar. Stern himself said that they don't tell owners who to sell to.
