Said this in another thread - but the Seahawks roster is stacked with talent. The younger guys (and other backups) earned their spots on the 53 and on Sunday they need to step it up and show us why. Pete seems incredibly confident, and Tom Cable is well respected for being great at his job. We have the right professionals tending to the situation, and my perspective on the game has not changed.

If anything, I think most fans will be left in awe of how well our non-starters stack up to other teams' starters. Sure - handling JJ Watt is tough - but the subs we bring in are just as human as the guys they replaced. Give them a chance to earn their rings. :)

I'll state again, I'm not one for predicting games but If I had to guess even with 3 of the Starters out on the O-line, Seahawks still win by double digits.

Other: We still win, but it's a close one, and we don't put up very many points. (Different from my prediction in your main thread, that was when we had Unger; I can see it now, the ball's going to get snapped over RW's head with the Texans recovering it, and our enemies will laugh and say height does matter. :()

In my preseason prediction for the season I went 14-2 with Houston a loss and Indianapolis a win. As the season unfolds I reverse that. We're right on schedule.:)

Three most important players on a team: QB, MLB, and Center. The only reason I'm not freaking out is because Russell is pretty damn accurate on the run, and he's going to need it IMO. We're facing a fierce defense and rollouts and short screens will be needed to combat Houston's pass rush.

Picks are way too negative for me. Seahawks win, not in a blow out. Texans are a good AFC team, but AFC = soft. They are the best smash mouth run it down your throat team in the AFC and no offense can't compete with us. Seahawks win 28-13.

Our starting O-line hasn't been all that great thus far this year. The starters were probably gonna have a tough day with the texans front 7 anyway so no prediction of a hawks win hasn't changed.

I think we can put up plenty of points, especially if our D & ST, helps out a little bit.

I see this particular Texan's offense the same as the Seahawks circa Holmgren.

Punch them in the mouth, be aggressive and physical on defense, and that offense will fold like a bad hand.

With our Offense, I see the Seahawks using a lot of 2 TE sets, with all 3 TEs getting involved, with a lot of chip blocks to help the O-line, and underneath zone routes to help Wilson get rid of the ball faster when needed.

Also, Texans is the perfect team to really break out the read-option. So, far they've played Rivers, Locker, and Flacco.

Locker is athletic but he's no Russell Wilson and even if the Titans do run RO looks (which I don't think they do), vs the Texans he had only 2 runs compared to 5 each in the other games he played.

The Read Option and 2 TE sets will mask the O-line deficiencies enough to pull out a win.

The offense may not move the ball at will, but they'll score some points. However the D and special teams will carry the day, add some points and win this one going away.

I selected other. My opinion on the game has indeed changed since the news about Unger and Breno, but I still think we win by 7>. With those guys in, I think we'd win by 10<

They should still be causing a lot of problems all game for our offense regardless, though.

I originally had us winning 31-9. But with our O-Line injuries I have us winning much closer with a score of 17-9. But I'm sure we all would still take it. Right?

My original pick was a close game, low scoring with us winning. I see no change here at all. We have had problems with the line anyway, each week we have had weaknesses. I think this week will be no different. This will give our younger guys a chance to get more experience, that is a good thing.

Correct. Our 2nd stringers aren't bullshit. Being a Capricorn and a Seahawk fan makes me naturally negative. Luckily Wilson isn't and I trust in him. This is very scary but I am IN!!
