In another topic, a few knowledgeable Seahawk fans thought Earl Thomas was more valuable than Richard Sherman even though the national media has no clue about Thomas. This got me thinking about which players on the Seahawks are the most valuable.
Top-20 (In Order) Most Valuable and Productive Seahawks for 2013:
1. Russell Wilson
2. Earl Thomas
3. Richard Sherman
4. Marshawn Lynch
5. Chris Clemons
6. Russell Okung
7. KJ Wright
8. Kam Chancellor
9. Percy Harvin
10. Max Unger
11. Brandon Mebane
12. Zach Miller
13. Bobby Wagner
14. Chris Avril (likely candidate to move up)
15. Antoine Winfield (likely candidate to move up)
16. Red Bryant
17. Sydney Rice
18. Brandon Browner
19. Golden Tate
20. James Carpenter (expect him to move up a lot if he stays healthy)
Most controversial:
-Earl Thomas ahead of Richard Sherman
-KJ Wright way ahead of Bobby Wagner
-Zach Miller ahead of Sidney Rice;
-Winfield and Avril should probably be ranked higher, but I don't know them that well and I'm not sure how they will fit in.
One thing is for sure, the Seahawks have a *lot* of talent, and more is on the way because Carroll always develops a few incoming players out of college every year.
