Most Annoying Fans?

There is some of that....hate the fans of the winning teams. The CLINK noise and "12"s thing can be a bit grating as well.

However, I have to agree in some regards. Every team that's winning picks up its fair share of new fans, but MAN OH MAN was that a phenomenon here. I certainly welcome all aboard the hawk wagon, I just hope they stick around when the cycle inevitably dips.

Because lets be fair, being a Seahawk fan was ridiculed for a long time. By many of the same people sporting "12" jerseys on Fridays now.

Us long suffering fans can at times look around and shake our heads.

I worry that someday it will become the Mariners. Refuse to Lose to Refuse to Care. When was the last time you saw someone wearing a M's jersey to work?

No doubt, I know a couple Pats fans, they are next level. But, there are plenty of incredibly annoying new Hawks fans. These same people are now talking junk about the team that they started loving 3 years ago :?

It comes with winning. People will have no interest in the sport but beat their chest when the hometown team is successful and slip away when they aren't. That's why Jaguars fans are the worst, always so arrogant.

In my personal opinion, Niners and Patriots fans are the WORST!

A close second would be Steelers and Cowboys fans.

In the late '70s I used to tend bar in NorCal. At first there might be 2-3 fans in the bar to watch a niner game. When the eighties got here and the Niners started winning, the place would be packed so tight there were literally standing outside the door to watch the game.

Of course, if the Niners weren't winning halfway thru the third qtr, half the place would leave. I've been a Niner hater ever since. :les:

The last 2 are a tie, as both teams haven't had a championship winning season in 2 decades but their fans try to link it's "relevancy" to their current teams, even though no players from those championship teams play on the current team.

I cringe at least 20 times a season just looking at the talking crap posts and pics on my Facebook feed........so I can't imagine how that comes across to other fan bases.

Having said this, I can't believe what with winning the SB and all the deflategate crap we've had to endure over the past 12 months that the Patriot's fans aren't #1.............by a mile.

If a genie gave me three wishes right now, I'd go right past end world hunger, cure for cancer and go straight to.

2. The Patriots go 0-16
3. The Patriots go 0-16

The average NFL fan of all teams in the league is a twat with limited understanding of the game and generally goes along with other statistics regarding 75% of humanity, but the worst fans in the NFL is an extremely easy identification:

49ers fans.

Once upon a time, Eagles and Raiders fans were known to be the most rowdy to the point where they needed jail cells in their stadiums, but 9er fans have surpassed that by far over the last 4-5 years with constant bloody scenes, whether at home or away, and have even resorted to murder in a few cases. Violence by 49ers fans has become unparalleled in NFL fanhood history.
