I heard Pete Carroll on the radio today talk about Monte Kiffin and how Kiffin influenced him, both in defensive schematics and coaching philosophy.

He was one of Pete’s great mentors. I’d say Kiff and Bud Grant probably influenced Pete more than anyone.
