Should have kicked a fg there just to give Milroe some confidence after a drive.
Not me. At all. He's a developmental guy this year. Lock knows what he's doing, and is a quality back up.Some good. Some bad. Gotta protect the ball. I still want him ahead of Lock.
I want him ahead of lock when he’s better than lock. He’s not. Some good. Some bad. Gotta protect the ball. I still want him ahead of Lock.
And Darnold, too! But only if we’re sure Manning is the next big thing. Some good. Some bad. Gotta protect the ball. I still want him ahead of Lock.
Yup. What's interesting to me is that for as great of an athlete/runner as he was college, he's got a lot to learn in how to use his legs more effectively, especially in the pocket. And I haven't been at all impressed by how they've run the read-option, though that might be more a result of the coaching. You'd think Milroe would be great for the read-option, but it's been a big zero from what I've seen, and the fakes haven't had much fakery to them by my eyes.Definitely looking like the #3 QB.
I just wrote something about this. We were thinking alike. Is it just me or does Milroe look nowhere near as fast as I was expecting? Someone, I forget who, said he was faster than Lamar.
Ummmmm, no.
Well he is the 3rd stringer so there’s that - rest of the day is going to be the don’t cut cut bowl for most of these dudes
Just wish he could make 3 good plays3rd round, 3rd string rookie QB in his 3rd preseason game.
Yeah, Milroe doesn't really look that fast. Seeing Lamar torch our D in the past, so fast and slippery, and not seeing any of that yet from Milroe. Is it just me or does Milroe look nowhere near as fast as I was expecting? Someone, I forget who, said he was faster than Lamar.
Ummmmm, no.
He’s almost got 3 fumblesJust wish he could make 3 good plays
