Milroe in Seattle?

As Seattle gets set to wrap up their top 30 visits in a few weeks, one name that stood out is QB Jalen Milore from Alabama. The General consensus out there seems to be that he is a very gifted QB athletically, but that he is a raw product that needs time to develop, specifically with his accuracy and read progression. Interested to hear what people here on .Net think about Seattle bringing in Milroe for a top 30 visit, and possibly using a pick on him in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.

Brock was talking about him a lot this morning. Sounds like he had a horrible pro day but has a ton of talent. Maybe worth a day 3 pick?
But.....a 4.37 40? Dayum
20 rushing TD's too.
I will never claim to be an expert on college guys. But I think he would fit better in a system like the Ravens or Bills. He's clearly a project.

Nope. Waste of a pick. Athletic for sure but awful accuracy that won't get better as the competition gets even more fierce. Dude has no touch at all. Hi short and intermediate throws are just awful. Sounds like there are some potential character issues as well. He's the LAST guy I would draft.

I like Milroe a lot.
He's rough around the edges and a longshot, but he loves the game and no one has better physical/athletic traits.
Huge upside and I love the dual threat aspect, I think his game can be refined though coaching. Milroe, out the gate, starts out with aspects that can't be coached.
If we took him somewhere from lower 3rd & below I'd be happy but suspect he could go higher.

I think great athletes rely on that at QB before they have to take a step back and use their heads, his footwork and release could have a lot to do with accuracy, that can be worked on if he is coachable. This kid has been head and shoulders above most guys he played against as an athlete, reading a defense not a necessity if you take a look and run if your guy isn't open. It could take years to get him under control and by then, well you lost some of the athlete part that intrigued you to draft him. I like him but general observations of this kind of guy. If he could be a Warren Moon or Randall Cunningham I say go for it, if he is a RGIII, Dante Culpepper who once the legs go the rest of the game goes no thanks.

It's all about the processor upstairs and how fast what's up there gets to the parts to execute it, release, decisions.

Milroe has looked like ass every time I've watched him. Bama fans sure don't seem upset that he declared.

I don't know who Id even compare him to as a prospect. Terrelle Pryor maybe? He's fast and explosive with his legs. He's not agile and elusive like Lamar Jackson, which I've seen as a comparison for some reason.

I wouldnt take him before the late rounds. He's too far away as a passer.

I would only take him if he fell to the bottom of the 3rd or lower. He is a risk but if they could work on his mechanics, throwing accuracy/touch, ect while he sits behind Darnold for a couple years...

As far as projects go, I'd rather start with Jalen Milroe than Bryce Young, but that's just my opinion.

He had a bad senior bowl and a bad pro day to go along with bad tape.
I can't imagine how he would be drafted in the first round but apparently the NFL thinks it's happening.

He's exactly "Once the legs go, he's done".
He isn't built to take hits like Me3 either and defenses today are geared
more to stopping one read running backs who play QB.. Offense is down the
last two three years for a reason.
Being dual threat is no longer the advantage it once was.

I think some work on his footwork & mechanics and put him behind a solid OL in a couple years.
Milroe's 95.8 PFF passing grade on passes thrown 40 yards or more is best in the draft class.
JM is the only QB in this draft with 30+ TD's run/pass in each of the last two years.

I'm no expert, but it seems to me from my baseball days you can't teach accuracy and touch. Either you have it or you don't. I'll pass. Here's a crazy idea: Why don't we draft a top prospect that is actually talented and do whatever it takes to get him? I know, I know, crazy. Obviously mid round projects are a much better path to the sb.

I'd be ok with Milroe as an UDFA because he is so much work that may likely will never pan out. I couldn't justify using a pick on him. I hadn't heard anything about him having bad character, I've heard nothing, but he has high character and exactly a Seahawks type of player. I hope he succeeds but his passing is atrocious

Him being an UDFA is ridiculous. I haven't seen a mock have him past the 4th round at the latest.
