It was one of those days. And hopefully JUST one of those days. Defensive front couldn't get pressure, ILB's had a bad day in coverage, and the DB's had a bad day in coverage and couldn't tackle. Hard to believe they are that bad even if they were a little over-hyped.
Tackling has been an issue all year.

I love coach Mike. As I’ve said in the past, he’s hyper intelligent, a solid leader, but most importantly, is the most handsome man within a fifty mile vicinity wherever he goes at all times. I mean….damn.

Damn, what a good looking guy.

That being said, it might be time for him to see if the British guy who he hired for DC can call a better game. He has other things to focus on. Allow him to take a step back and refocus.

Glad he's pissed but Tampa knew how to beat us from the get go. Mayfield was at 90% completion for 15 yards a pop. They saw something during the week and exploited it. We need to fix it fast.
I think this is it. They saw all of the wounded DBs, and took advantage of it.

MM on brock and salk said there was a problem with tackling, and Brock said his Dad even griped about the missed tackles. MM also said that you have to call the game based on your players.

I believe that if your backup DBs aren't good enough to play man to man, you have to call zone coverage.

Mike probably needs to look in the mirror on this one. After being killed over and over again, come up with something to get a stop. The only time TB had to punt is when Baker finally missed a wide open receiver on 3rd down. After that incompletion Baker was 25 of 28. Let's not forget the defensive collapse in Arizona.
Which, again, was not without injury playing a factor (Demarcus Lawrence).

Mike was right to focus on what he could control and not blame injuries, but come on - what else was he going to say from the podium? Lose five starters and assignments are going to get missed. You can shift things to compensate, but that comes with other tradeoffs.

I'm all in on big Mike. Love what he's done with a very crappy team that he didn't build. I think sunday showed we don't have the depth maybe we thought we did. I am sure he and John will address that. Hopefully we are getting some guys back before JAX. We are going to need them.
