A few things after catching up on this thread:
1. I am going to try not to attack posters personally, but let me say that I would rather read a thousand posts that are distraught about losing a player that is well-liked, even if those posts are sometimes over-the-top, than read one post by someone whining about how distraught people are. We know that it's a business. It's a business when your company lays you off, too. That doesn't mean that you should take it in stride and move on. Yeah, this isn't as affecting for anyone as losing a job, but it is affecting. I cannot imagine what good your holier-than-thou posts are doing.
2. Anytime Hawkblogger gets too big in his britches about this, just remind him that his columns where he was in the tank for Matt Flynn are still up on the internet and a demonstration of his strategy: Skip Bayless-like harping on points until he gets one right and then reminding everyone how right he was.
3. Assuming that this isn't just a MRob being sick/money thing and that it also indicates that the FB position will be less important this season and in seasons to come, do you all think that we see more 2 and 3TE sets, predominantly? More four-wides (something I think we need to really do more of with the WR talent we have)?
