Might be time to draft a QB

Geno's knee might be a blessing in disguise. We weren't really going anywhere in the playoffs, so now we'll get 3 games of Howell vs live fire. Should give the staff a clear picture of where we sit with him.

Regardless, we'll be drafting in the late teens/early 20's. Would you want the 4th or 5th QB off the board or the 4th or 5th OL off the board?

Keep in mind guys like Justin Fields, Zack Wilson, and Mac Jones will all be UFAs too.

It's kind of funny. Last week we finally had a game when the offensive line wasn't overmatched. Guess what, the offense looked like a normal offensive. Geno Smith played under control, didn't seem to reach and everything looked good. Then this game happened---our line got beat like a drum and the wheels came off the cart. Like I said, it's all right in front of you. If you have a competent offensive line---this team, and Geno, would be great.

I feel sorry for any rookie coming here to play behind that line. You could have a reincarnated Mike Vick and it wouldn't matter. We don't need a superstar QB, we need studs in the trenches. Why is that so hard for folks to understand?

I am against drafting a qb. Look at the results. 2024 was a very good year. The rest were questionable at best:

As others have pointed out, build the trenches out.
