I may be stupid asking this but when a player gets fined where does the money go?
X 2.Sports Hernia":igjpawse said::177692: :34853_doh: Roger Goodell is the commish of the NFL. He runs the league. He is the CEO. He can make changes to things as he sees fit. Stop being a such fanboy and Rog apologist!rideaducati":igjpawse said:It has been a rule for a couple years now. Players are not allowed to hit the qb forcefully at or below the knees. He did, hence the penalty and fine.
I still don't understand the hate for Goodell when penalties are called or fines are given out...he neither throws the flag nor levies the fine. Once again, lemmings blaming ONE man for all that ails the NFL. ALL new rules were presented to the NFL by a committee of coaches and former players. Those on the committee agreed that these rules should be implemented, so you guys should find out who the committee members are and blame them for coming up with the new rules. Goodell has never played or coached like the committee members have, so he has smartly delegated those responsibilities to those that have played and coached. The new rules, after passing through the committee, are then taken to the OWNERS, who then vote yes or no on implementing them.
The fines go through someone not named Roger Goodell too, so you guys that blame Goodell for fines and penalties just make your ignorance known to all.
