I think last night said more about Detroit's defense, or lack thereof, than Seattle's. Outside of our offensive line and the matador that is Stone Forsythe, I came away feeling pretty good about where this team is at. Sure, we don't have great depth on the defensive line, but who does against arguably one of the best offenses in the League? Too many chicken littles around here.

Refs, missing our DL starters…If we are healthy we walk away with this one. Dems da brakes. Get some of our guys back next week, 4-1 sounds pretty fantastic to me.
Agreed. Flush and get focused for NY.

After what I'm calling a close loss (even though I only saw like 1/4 of the game and then highlights), we're back home, an I hope we bitch slap the Giants.

I'm just loving the new attitude(s) under MM. Love it. No excuses. No word salads. Just "We need to get better."

Speaking of Forsythe, when they were doing the starting lineups, Troy said he had been "playing well". I literally said "what?" to my tv when I heard that.

When we kick some Giant butt, the naysayers will say "yeah, but Daniel Jones is just another mediocre QB we beat up on". ;)

I'm not happy about the loss, obviously, but there were some serious odds stacked against the Seahawks tonight. We were in it right up until about midway through the 4th quarter.
The same people who say we get smoked by no-name QBs. There is no pleasing them. I have never felt so good about a loss. The team was decimated and we played with determination. I'm in NY too, but I am not stupid. They will beat the Giants!

Game turned out pretty much how I figured.

The defense was completely undermanned and everyone should have known that was going to be a huge hill to overcome.

The positive thing to take away from this loss is that we are most definitely in a new era. The offense was open, new, refreshing. The hook and ladder call was delicious.

The offense is good enough.

The defense will be there soon.

We've got some great young minds on both sides of the ball and life is looking good. The future is bright!
