i'm happy they found a way to keep him on the team he's a raw motivated athlete and i think the chance to learn under Irvin,Clemons,Bennett,Avril,Scofield can do alot for his game. Especially the way this team's attitude of always compete and the way they help each other as teammates will only improve his confidence and his game in my opinion.

If he works out, he will be the most unpolished gem discovered by our staff. And it will guarantee that that Idaho college staff never gets another job anywhere, not even coaching pee wee.

He made it, but he's not safe. He's one of 5-6 players whose spot on the roster in subject to a 3rd TE being signed, Irvin's return and Harvin's return.

Lotulelie, Morgan, Mayowa, Person . . . don't look back, because the turk could still be coming for you.

I'm hoping he isn't a preseason wonder, but I am happy to see he made it. Based on preseason play, he earned it.

Of that list I think Person and then Lotulelie are at most risk. Then if Mayowa is showing enough I could see Morgan going before him.

But who knows.

Well the roster as stands is a perfect defensive wise for playing against read option guys, fast and can close the edge down as well as come from all angles on a blitz. The only problem I see is when we play teams that have big backs up the gut now and how well we can clog the middle.

Finding athletic, fast players who weight 250+ lbs and have the ability to rush the paaser is very difficult to find.

Despite what some said about him being a PS type player at best....I liked his potential alot and don't even think he's a bubble player at all.

Will he comtribute this year? Who knows, but it took Jermaine Kearse a year and Allen Bradford a couple before they developed in this system, and I see the same with Mayowa.

Really like his potential.

Pete Carroll mentioned Mike Person as the #3 tight end for week 1 during his 9-2 press conference today.

Hope he can keep it up during the games that count. But congrats to him as he was great during the preseason.

Lotulelie is a sexier keep, but Mayowa is a meat and potatoes producer that gets it done.

Of all the new guys he is the one I have my eye on for stepping in and being a difference maker. We showed our ass to the world when Clemon's went out last fall. Absolutely 0 pass rush after that. Not much better in the Preseason. Until Clemons gets healthy, this kid is the one I want to see get more playing time, coaching and Mentoring from Clem himself.

Congrats on making the Team Rook!

Is it because they didn't shop him around?
