I definitely would have pulled Castillo there before the Hayes homer

Poor outing from Castillo. Poor outing from Santos.

Santos has been struggling badly to find his command. A 1.8 WHIP is very bad for a supposed high leverage reliever. He probably shouldn't be in close games anymore until he figures it out.

It wasn't Dylan Moore's fault. Castillo was definitely not the Castillo of last year tonight. Santos really bothers me. Solid Rodney vibes from him. Throws fire, but can't find the plate with a fork.

Oh well, end of the win streak.

Williamson didn't get a chance to flash his glove work, but was pretty good at the plate. Even when he didn't get a hit he saw a lot of pitches. Think I'm gonna like the kid.

Castillo just isn’t that dominant these days…I mean he may get it back but I just see him as the 5th starter at this point.
He's a 4 or 5 on a team that knows what they're doing. That's why nobody wanted to pay a ridiculous price for him in an off-season deal. Jerry LOVES platoon players.... He knows he really wants to swap him after this season for another Urias type.

Castillo has always been good for a homer in mid or early innings for years now. THe problem is.. he's letting more and more people on base before he throws that meater

He was pretty solid before yesterday. But I suspect he'll be the new whipping boy.
Then again, there's a few on here who can't wait to come back and tell us they lost. Same exact ones who vanished when they went 5-1 against Texas and Houston. Strange way to fan, but to each his/her own. Pretty fake. I said what I said.
It's baseball, come back today and get that W.

Williamson has done more than Tellez or Solano already. Dude has a high leg kick but stays very firm with his swing. I would *think* Locklear or Montes gets called up if Tellez and Solana don't get it going by first week of May.

It's definitely Locklear time at this point. Probably won't come up until they go back home though.

Castillo is HORRENDOUS on the road or has your HOMER-ISM blinded you too much? He couldn't get past the fifth inning. He ISNT an ACE or anything beyond a #4 or #5 on a REAL contender. It's that simple.

He already has 100 dingers. Mike Piazza has the catcher record with 399.
I was worried when I saw him up in the 3 hole and hitting below .200, but it looks like a little protection is helping and his avg. is on the up tick.

Solid win. I'll take it. Taylor was shaky in his first chance back. Hope he can get that under control. Almost cost us the game.

Cal with his all or nothing swing is putting runs up at least. Williamson with his first MLB RBI, not a lot of plays at 3d, but got ate up on that one screamer from Elly. He'll come around, we hope.

First road win this year. Many more to come.
