The other Luis Castillo was sent back down, so there''s only one again.
He's a 4 or 5 on a team that knows what they're doing. That's why nobody wanted to pay a ridiculous price for him in an off-season deal. Jerry LOVES platoon players.... He knows he really wants to swap him after this season for another Urias type.Castillo just isn’t that dominant these days…I mean he may get it back but I just see him as the 5th starter at this point.
Castillo is HORRENDOUS on the road or has your HOMER-ISM blinded you too much? He couldn't get past the fifth inning. He ISNT an ACE or anything beyond a #4 or #5 on a REAL contender. It's that simple. He was pretty solid before yesterday. But I suspect he'll be the new whipping boy.
Then again, there's a few on here who can't wait to come back and tell us they lost. Same exact ones who vanished when they went 5-1 against Texas and Houston. Strange way to fan, but to each his/her own. Pretty fake. I said what I said.
It's baseball, come back today and get that W.
I was worried when I saw him up in the 3 hole and hitting below .200, but it looks like a little protection is helping and his avg. is on the up tick.He already has 100 dingers. Mike Piazza has the catcher record with 399.
