Bummer. Still a 6-4 road trip. Could have won 3 of 4 at Houston. It is what it is. On to Tuesday.

How you gonna argue a strike call that wasn't even close to being wrong? That wasn't even borderline. It well within the zone. C'mon man, lol.
Can't really blame Dan, the umps were sucking donkey dicks all series, the whole crew proved how much they need the roboumps in baseball.

Tough loss, couldn't push a run across when needed. I loved that they let Castillo finish the 6th inning, but it sucked when the offense let him down in the 7th.

Still a winning road trip at 6-4. Back at home Tuesday, with a rest/travel day tomorrow.

Friggin we always miss by one game!!!! Don’t say that even sarcastically you’re gonna jinx us. The one game curse
It was sarcasm because one game always matters. And for some reason fans seem to think losing to your division is the same as losing one game to non-division. It isn't in most cases. This one game played = 2 games in the standings. That is huge. We could have split the series meaning no games lost in the standings and 4 games off the schedule. That is big.

And sorry, I just hate the 6-4 roadtrip was a positive. Hey 5 out of 6 to start was great, but once the next series starts none of that matters. You have to play series by series and not roadtrip/homestand by roadtrip/homestand.

Fans too often excuse bad play. Today was bad play day. Don't excuse Crawford for jogging home because he thought they were turning two. The game isn't played that way. At least not by champions.

Sorry again because I really hate the Asstros.

Okay enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Fair points. Didn't think of that. Just thought it looked pretty funny getting tossed over a correct call that wasn't even close to being wrong. 🤷‍♂️

Well, suffice it to say there are times when a manager must get himself tossed, if for no other reason than to show the team how he stands up for them.

About myself-

I have a love-hate relationship with the Ms. Been a fan since first pitch in 1977. Seen the bad times, more bad times, still more bad times, then the Griffey Jr era, then the Ichiro era, then more bad times, and finally these times which I am not sure if they are good times or just teasing times. They are entertaining while still being frustrating. I am hooked for life, but I do like to vent. I have been on these boards for decades. Several until they went defunct. I am currently on one other board. Been on it since 2013.

I attended every home playoff game in the '95 playoffs. Not easy because it is a 4+ roundtrip and I just started a new job that May. My boss at the time said I needed to choose work or the games. I said I started here in May, but I have been a M's fan for 18 years at that point. I worked there for 13 more years and never missed a game. LOL.

When my wife wanted to move from WA where we both were born and raised, I sold my business and moved us and our daughter to the West Valley in AZ. She wanted sun, I wanted M's. We lived 5 minutes from the Rangers/Royal spring training field and 20 from M's/Padres. That was a great 8 years. Went to hundreds of M's practices, spring games, winter league games, rookie league games, and whatever else they had for us down there. Spoke to many players over the years, a couple GM's and my wife and I were actually talking to Chuck Armstrong right before he had to step away and take the call telling him Jr. was coming back. He was like a kid in the candy store. I was even in a M's TV promo played during some of their games that year. It was a blast to say the least. Went to M's and Hawks games when they were in town as well. My brother flew down from WA to go to the Super Bowl. He had big plans to party afterwards, but ended up calling me right after the game asking me to come pick him up. I come from a die-hard sports family. Grew up having season tickets to the Hawks from the late 70's until the late 80's until my dad died in '88. My mom was even lucky enough to meet Curt Warner a few years back here in town. She is 87 now and still loves that guy.

I have forgotten many of my experiences with the team. Nothing major just fun moments.

Anywho, thanks for letting me hang out on here.

Baseball is a game of streaks. I'll get concerned if this current down trend extends into several weeks. For now, not major concerned, but watching.

Without Robles and Raley, it wasn't going to look pretty.
Raley was only batting .206 when he got hurt. Wasn't much of a factor this year. Tellez has put up equal numbers to Raley as sad as that sounds. Robles actually had a negative WAR when he went down. They may have played a factor, but by no means they are the total reason. Lots of duds on this roster. Dipoto couldn't spot a bat if he took up spelunking.
