He's been... hot? What?!?!?! I like your takes dude.. but this is .. left field.. foul line in the stands level.

His production has been two homeruns in the last week... basically... that is not "hot"

We have different standards ... 6 for 25... at least he isnt striking out.. but he isnt walking either.. nothing but easy pop ups and fielder choice hits.

We are watching the same team every day right? (I will say I do have the the freedom to watch them on gametime start so lucky there)
Julio sucks in your eyes and that's fine. Hot is an exaggeration, yes. But, he's been the whipping boy for plenty of people. It's some strange stuff, but exactly what I expect. His strikeout numbers and his swing and miss is way down. But they'll get the split and the sky isn't falling, I'll be busy pulling for my team, thru thick and thin. Not freaking out over one bad loss in a 162 game season. For a team that's STILL in first place. Even with a ridiculous amount of injuries. It's baseball, sometimes you get your ass whipped. You suck it up and come out the next day and get that W.
Julio is batting about .275 in May. I'm more concerned about Polanco right now. Ice cold.

Not too worried about last night. Short night's rest at the back end of a long road trip. Let's see how they bounce back Friday.

Yeah, pretty rare to see them get smoked this season really. They usually fight til the end. Just wasn't their night. Not just Kirby, but the offense leaving dudes on base, often. Just get the split in the series.

Also, that was Kirby's first start in 8 months.

Side note, Julio is BACK in the lineup tonight (no pun intended there)

Cal again tied for the AL HR lead with Judge. One HR behind Ohtani for the MLB lead. On pace to hit 52 for the season, which would break the MLB record for most HRs in a season by a catcher. (Salvador Perez, 48)

Heck, just having someone on the Mariners hit 40 HRs would be amazing. Last person to hit at least 40 was Nelson Cruz in 2016.

We have at least two guys who are capable of hitting 40 HR. Maybe 3.

Nice bounce back win.

Julio has the exact same BA as Garver at this point, lol. While that represents a big improvement for Mitch so far, that's pretty gross for Julio. Sure would be nice if he could figure out how to hit before mid June at some point in his career.

Julio is slightly above average player. Not a star. Yet anyway.
Red Sox call up a prospect. A's called up multiple prospects. M's doing nothing.
The double digit strike out games are back, baby.

Way to many strikes taken with bats on the shoulder.

It was like the first game of the series, same thing there.

They need to be more aggressive in my book. You don’t
Want to swing at crap, but you need to look for balls to hit.

How many hits can you get not swinging…….zero.
