Robles would be a god send right now... Can you imagine.. I feel his bat alone would make our lineup so much better... Victor 1, JP 9, Julio still at 2... etc that relief at the end with pithces taken and getting on base... our backend would be so much better
No doubt. Felt like a huge loss when it happened. And it absolutely still does.

They are red hot because of one player. Who ate butthole two two series and just unleashed on Houston.... When you barely play you can have very good overall numbers and boost your your numbers with 2 series.

The fact he's projected higher to win the Rookie of the year over his teammate Woods is nuts.

A good July does not make rookie of the year... just saying
Who said anything about rookie of the year? They just had a 4 game sweep at Houston. That kid had one of the best games at the plate we have ever seen. All I said was they are hot coming into this series. 🤣🤣🤣

Good game tonite.

Pitching mostly good with some rough spots by Spier. Castillo and Munoz were aces.

Williamson showing why he's up in the bigs. Some big time defense tonight and a couple of hits.

Naylor. What a get.

Gained a game on both the 'Stros and the Rangers.

All of a sudden the opposing teams have to pay attention to the big guys stealing bags. I love to see us putting pressure on the pitchers and catchers.
Great win tonight. We need to go on a W streak.

I would actually have Julio lower but they won't do it. He's not a 1 or 2 guy so 3 or 4 I guess.

Castillo has been so good the last month. They showed a graphic that on his last five or so starts he has under a 2 ERA.

When playoffs come and we make it, Dan Wilson is going to make some tough decisions to make on the rotation. It’s a good problem to have.

He came in as the best defensive 3B in all of AAA, and he has been as good or better than advertised. Hitting will come around as he learns the league, but it's not like he's a horrible hitter. I do NOT want them to even consider trading him.
He's batting .256 as a Rookie. That's pretty solid. All while playing Gold Glove level defense.

If Suarez ends up here, they better DH him, a lot. He's a damn good hitter, but not near the defensive player that Williamson is.
This team is offensively challenged. You better damn well have good defense behind this pitching staff. A staff that has been very up and down, to say the least. Then again, this is Dan Wilson. Half the time, I can't tell what the *&*% going to do

3-run homer by the A's.

That's probably the game right there, given how much offense we seem to be interested in mustering tonight. Two K's already by Julio.
