That joke would have been funnier when Julio wasn't hitting. He's one of the hottest hitters on the team the last few weeks.
Be better if you're gonna' take another shot at the guy. Because clearly, he's the only one who leaves guys on base on this team
Again.......selective criticism. And the timing is actually kind of funny. Dude gets 2 or 3 hits, while a few, who SHOULD be hitting, throw up an 0-4 or or 0-5.......... crickets.
Dude went 3 for 4 yesterday. Arozarena and Cal went 0 for 4, 3K's for Cal and 2 for Aroza. Suarez went 1-4 and struck out 3 TIMES.
Monday's game: Julio goes 2-4. Cal 0-5 with 3 K's. Arozarena goes 0-4. Suarez goes 0-4
Now WHO is stranding guys on base? He has done his share of it, but the convenient ignoring of MANY guys on this team who need to hit better is a never ending story
All jokes aside, the PITCHING is the biggest concern at this point, imo. And it's not like the Offense is exactly killing it. But damn, what in the hell happened to our pitching?
