Why wouldn't they just go for the double play? I can only think it was a slow develping play?

Mastroboni had options, pretty sure DMo is out of options so they would have to release him.

As much as he can’t hit, he’s versatile, plays good defense and also had speed to pinch run.

I think they’re just waiting til the deadline is over, but my guess is they get rid of Solano. With Naylor, there isn’t much need for him.
Exactly. DMo is out of options. He can't get a hit. At least Mastrobouni can get a couple hits every month. That's why he should be gone. Too many DMo type players & THAT one is like 2 for his last 50 with 30K's.

Tough loss.

Woo's last batter, he struck him out twice and the ump sent him to first. Otherwise, he got his normal 6 innings and leaves with the team in position to win.

Welcome Naylor. Got a hit and made a couple of plays at first.

I lived in SoCal for many years. I hate the Angles.

A's rookie Kurtz had more homers tonight than Young and Williamson have combined all year.
Dan having JP bunt was incredibly stupid this is not a bunting team lmao.

JP is a bad bunter, Luke is a great bunter. We need to get better at bunting and hit and run. I don’t think JP likes to bunt. He took the best pitch to bunt

JP forced that bunt. He seemed so adamant on getting the bunt down he didn't care it was way high and that led to the pop up. That releiever was really struggling and felt like we left him off the hook by being eager to swing, especially Julio.

Either Kirby or the offense has to be really good today as we most likely won't have Bazardo, Munoz or Brash today.

I'm ready to move on from JP next year. A lead off hitter who can't just lay down a basic bunt? Ridiculous. And his fielding isn't near what it was in the past.
