so random thought. Do you think some of our pitchers are struggling because Cal is not behind the plate? I have barley seen either catchers go out and talk to the guys when they are struggling like Cal would.

Good shorthanded win against a solid team. Several good challenges to keep them out of it.

Today's lineup 🤮
And yes, we're missing a ridiculous amount of guys tonight. It's actually a trip to be a 1st place team when you're without Cal, Donovan, JP and Emerson.

And how in the hell do you sit Raley?????? Sweet fake man in the clouds, Dan is painfully bad.
And NO, I don't give a crap bout this Lefty vs. Lefty crap. Look at those Batting Averages...........ba-roo-tallll
Canzone on the bench too. Hopefully the starter is out quickly.

It's Dan's fault that Logan has 80 plus pitches before the
fourth!

Logan went 6 full innings, gave up 1 run on 3 hits, and retired the final 14 batters he faced in a row. Any team in baseball would be damn happy to get that outing from any starting pitcher in baseball.

But of course, none of that matters because his pitch count got pretty high early on.

The obsession with pitch count over all else is absolutely bizarre.

The dopey Mariners have made pitch count a real thing. 85-90 pitches is basically the limit or a 5 & dive. Nobody has any chance of finishing 7 innings unless under 100 pitches, which is very difficult to do.

They didn't need Mason Miller at the deadline last year & definitely don't need him now. They needed to pull out all stops to get Refsniffles.
