Cris Carter's 'record' in the playoffs. 4-10.

Number of 100 yard catches in playoff games. 2. 1 every 7 games.

TDs: 8. 4 for every 7 games.

He should definitely talk.

Cris Carter was always a "Me over we" guy. Concerned more with his stats and catches than team winning. how his team lost to ATL despite being a 15 point favorite that year.

Cris Carter was always a great athlete with amazing hands....but no heart.

His record in the playoffs is a losing one and frankly, he had a history of getting shut down when it counted.

It seemed like he might have liked the sweet sweet taste of cocaine a bit too much, maybe it would have been different otherwise.

But the Vikings had some good teams a few of those times and Carter just flat out didn't answer the bell.

Baldwin did more with less opportunity, so Carter should probably stick to his current job and worry less about taking umbrage at the fact that he called out players on another team, they used it as motivation and then called him out on it afterwards.

Cris Carter was a fantastic receiver, a featured number one. He made a lot of great plays but at least Baldwin was able to beat the Niners in the playoffs.

Baldwin was born with half the physical gifts, has been clutch since day ONE as a UDFA and is a serious student of the game as he plays his role in a power offense.

How many circus catches on difficult to catch balls does he need to make? Week one in Carolina? The spark to success. 3rd down after 3rd down... He has made Carlos Rogers his personal bitch and bailed this team out over and over in his 3rd year.

Carter says we brought on Harvin because we didn't believe in Baldwin.

I guess that means the Vikings bringing on Randy Moss means they didn't believe in him?

Cris Carter in the 1998 NFC Championship - 6 for 67
Cris Carter in the 2000 NFC Championship - 3 for 24

Doug Baldwin in the 2013 NFC Championship - 6 for 106

Baldwin outdid Carter in 1 game.. not bad for an 'appetizer'

And he was concerned with his stats in as much as they got him the payday. I once heard him say (on NFL-AM I think) that he had a goal of 7-figures; once he got that he felt satisfied.

So I went ahead and Googled Cris Carter and compared his first three seasons stats with Baldwin's. Pretty comparable, with Carter having a slight edge in avg yards per catch and TDs, and Baldwin well ahead in receptions, yards, playoff wins and of course conference championships/SB appearances.

His Philly days. Their offense passed around 100+ more times in each season than RW has passing attempts for 2013 too.

Carter averaged 31.56 YPG while Dougy has averaged 41.3

Remedial...

Nice find, Rufus. So basically, Carter is comparable to Baldwin. No idea why the man felt the need to pipe up.
