Luck was great. The officiating was the worst i've seen.

For both sides, yes. but the calls didn't exactly cost either team the win.
Which bad call went against the Colts? I can't even think of a single one.
That's because the game changing bad calls were non-existent for the Colts today.
I don't like that we made some bad plays today, but those weren't the only reason for the loss to the Colts, and bad officiating does change the outcome, ESPECIALLY when you're playing a QB like Luck (who doesn't need propping up).
The Colts, and their fans got their win, and it doesn't much matter how.

As Hawks fans you are just going to have to get used to bad calls. We needed turnovers. Give it up to the Colts for playing smart.

I think my favorite was the 3rd and forever when luck chucked it wildly down the field and Browner was flagged for running in the vicinity of the reciever....

Browner was looking at the ball when it was in the air...I dont see how they call PI on that...especially since the ball wasnt even near them.

What a bunch of whiny sore losers. The call on Sherman was correct and obvious to anybody with eyes. Calling it a safety was correct as well, he didn't have control of the ball. Nice hustle though. The PI on Tate was bs. What lost this game was the defense, not the officials. The defense needed to step up and they choked just like they did in Atlanta.

Also, I have just about had it with Wilson overthrowing wide open recievers. For all the plays Wilson made today the overthrows impacted the game far more than the officiating.

So the rule book states that if a defender (Sherman) is pushed, he should be flagged for PI?? Guess Sherman should have ducked to avoid being pushed and thus flagged.

Learned something new today.

Thanks Razor.

So Sherman's arms draped around him perfectly legal, if it wasn't a pi it was holding. It is hilarious that you guys are actually putting that call up as one of the bad ones. Sherman had a bad 4th quarter just like the rest of the defense.

I thought a ball had to be catchable for PI to be valid. That throw was way off the mark.

they were both hand battling, and the play ended with the receiver pushing Sherm as he fell down.

That play should have been in order:
1. No call
2. offensive pi
3. defensive illegal contact
4. defensive pi

Yet another reason why the call was so horrid.

Not to mention the fact that it bailed Indy out of a 3rd and forever deep in their territory. We would have gotten the ball back in great field position in a position to go up two scores.

Frustrating :?

I give up. All of you saying we lost because of the refs are absolutely right. None of the mistakes and bad plays Seattle made were a factor in the loss. The clutch play by Luck wasn't a factor in the loss. It was all the refs and that's the only reason.

Is this an intelligent post?

"Sherman's arms draped around him..."

Do you yell "RAPE" when someone shakes your hand?

What are your thoughts on the no DPI call on the last drive when Sidney Rice was being tackled? Just curious if it applies to both sides for you?

Just like the huskies game.... Special teams and officiating put this game just out of reach.

That ball was 20 yards down field...

It just seemed like the refs had an agenda here, who did they target or make calls really tightly on?

LOB and Tate. Tate has a rep for being physical and getting fined by the league. Boom, they got him with a phantom OPI. They were watching him, they knew him.

And they let the opposing receivers play really physical with the LOB and once the LOB play their normal game, BOOM PI time.

Really seemed planned out to me.

Get used to it guys. Not saying this was the reason for the lose, we left plays on the field, they made some great plays, Luck is a baller! They just have to play better than this on the road against a quality opponent.

If that game was at the Clink, that's a W.

I agree with you totaly regarding the refs I was saying the same thing during the game. Every year the scheduling, the game ref calling etc etc makes me less confident that all is totally on the up and up on the NFL.

I truly think the league and the networks want certain teams to win. I know I am going to get dumped on by some one for this statement but it sure looks like it each year and I don't just mean the Hawks I see it with lots of games not just ours.

Tough one to lose a grip on but at the same time things tend to balance out (well, maybe not always). Texans fans were probably just as disappointed at a blown opportunity as Seahawks fans are now.

I hate the Ref gripe because it just comes out as sour grapes. All the griping in the world didn't change XL and it doesn't change this game. This could have been an epic win, a statement win. In the end, it was just a chance to see a couple young QBs battle it out with the opponent's young QB showing he has some moxie and justifies being the #1 pick overall. I see some of our folks are starting to pan Wilson. That is unfortunate but at least this game wasn't like the last time the Seahawks were at Lucas Oil Stadium getting ran out the gym by P Manning.

Hope the critics get whatever it is they are looking for so they can chill out.

You mean that isnt fair?

Also the Seahawks have only played 1 1pm pacific kickoff out of their 5 games this year and it doesnt get better in the next 3 games. We have our 1:15 game then 2 away games on the road in primetime. That will be 3 Primetime games, 3 10AM road starts, and only 2 1:15 pacific start home games in the first 8 games. Thats just an all over the place schedule

1. For us to have further success this season, the offense needs to learn how to freakin finish a drive once they cross the 50 yard line.

2. Russell needs to hit Golden on that long pass near the end of the half for a TD, elite QBs don't miss throws like.

3. The safety/non-touchdown was a huge call, and the colts blocked FG/TD was tough to take.

4. Some of the PI calls were ridiculous, if anything, the one on Sherm should have been a no call.

5. Defense still needs to learn how to close out games, thought that was solved during the Texans game, but still is a problem for us.

The Colts converted 3rd downs at will. I wasn't overly impressed with them on either side of the ball, but they were good enough to put together some long drives a few yards at a time. Luck also made some big time throws when he needed to, though his overall day wasn't particularly stellar IMO.

I feel pretty good right now all things considered. The offense looked good this week and the defense wasn't terrible outside of a few blown coverages and shutting down Luck on third down.

Oh, and I thought Wilson was a stud today. I think folks are getting used to his heroic playmaking ability and look to his few mistakes to attack him. Give the man a few of his linemen back and he will be great.

Two weeks ago if you had offered me a 1-1 split from Texans and Colts I'd have taken it, we're still not going to lose very often this year. GG Colts, roll on Titans.
