Goff is not elite. When we play the lions I think to myself “cool, Goff is easy just get in his face and he’ll throw a pick”

So far Goff is not much more than darnold, just more years of production
Can't help but agree here. Jared Goof is basically Darnold who managed to fall into an ultra-lucky situation (well-run organizations) from Day 1 instead of the Jets.

I think he'll be excellent. People hold him to such a ridiculous standard because of who his father is. The stuff people rip on him for would be no big deal if his last name was "Smith" instead of "Sanders". Meanwhile, if Jaxson Dart was Jaxson Smith, he wouldn't have been considered by anyone before the fifth round.
I agree with the standard as far as Sanders goes but your Dart example...uhh....

Not sure that's how it works... 🤔

All things being equal, If Jaxson Dart's name was Jaxson Smith but he had the same highlights and outlook as a QB prospect, I don't think it would've mattered what his last name was.

The result would've been the same and he'd be selected by the Giants.

Dart has no famous father overshadowing everything so having a different last name wouldn't have mattered.

Of our 11 selections in this past draft, I liked nine of them. It was just Milroe and Emmanwori that were dumb picks. Typically, you're lucky to hit on more than three of them in an average draft, so if anything, I'm entirely TOO optimistic. I should probably dial that back some.

Should they have gotten another O-Line guy instead of Emmanwori?

All 11 will be hall of famers that’s how optimistic I am

No, they should have taken a better player. My issue wasnt the position. And they wasted a third round pick in the process; not as badly as the third round pick they actually used, but both were spectacularly terrible decisions.
