He’s on a trivia team and asked me for help.

He suspected the answer but wasn’t sure, hence asking me.

Should be easy for most of us.

The best running back in Seahawks history.

Shaun Alexander the Great

Yo Jerhawk, I'm really happy for you, I'ma let you finish, but Marshawn was one of the best running backs of all time! One of the best running backs of all time!
I'm finished. The narrative around here is to poopoo all over Shaun. It is what it is

Alexander is severely underrated by many.
Alexander was probably the more skilled athlete. Lynch was definitely the better football player. Both gifted in different ways, so don't really know which was more gifted.

Hey I loved SA. Cheered for everything he did, but not for his constant running out of bounds so as not to get hit.

Also SA played behind one of the all time great O lines.

But trust me although he was elusive and smooth he was not and never would be Beast Quake!

I agree he is the second best runner in Hawks history, (CW would have been 2nd if not for injury) and I am happy he made the ring, but he is not a better RB than ML.

Two totally different running styles... difficult to compare.

Name the situation and I'll give you my opinion on who would do better.

Shawn had the better Oline. Marshawn did more by himself than did Shawn.

Both were great for the Hawks in their time. As was Curt Warner, albeit for a much shorter time.
