If any of you who have the icon I made would like an updated version with the new team colors, just let me know and I would be happy to make one.

Thanks for the offer, but something about the old colors just seem so fitting IMHO.

Late to the game but was a really nice guy and a great fan and better person. Nice that we can remember members and recall what made this site what it is and why it grew to it's current state. Great people are never forgotton and have left the world a better place for them being in it, Cheinhill is such a man.

Didn't know the guy myself but he sounds like a member held in high regard. Maybe we should retire a jersey for him up next to the .Net chat button. That woud be pretty epic. But again - I never met the man.

That's what I was thinking too but wanted to extend the offer just in case... :)

I'm pretty sure that Cheinhill passed in 2004. I know it's been a while.

He was a good man and a good fan. I wish I had had the honor of meeting him in person.

Before my time but he obviously had a profound affect in many here.

RIP, Tom. Sorry I didn't get a chance to know you.

We try to have a rememberence of Tom every year. Tho there were many of the original members that were key he had a special place in many hearts and minds here.

I do apologize for not doing it in August before the season starts as we normally do. But its clear that even during the season people want to remember him. Its clear by the number of hits on this posting.

Again thank you all from myself and Kidhawk for your kind words and memorys. After all he will someday be the one carrying this banner probably by himself.

I only knew his posts for a few months before he passed. I remember he was one of my favorite posters back in the day. RIP Tom, and may this be the year we finally hoist the Vince Lombardi to the sky for you!
