The Mariners have a pitcher make his first ever AllStar game after posting a 2.79 era (and 9 no decisions) 6-5 record…

And they make him pitch Sunday eliminating his chance to pitch in the AS game just so he can deliver 7 scoreless innings on 2 hits and get another no-decision…and another Mariners loss.

He needs to demand a trade, otherwise he will end up just like Felix… H.O.F. ability and 100+ no-decisions that will cost him that honor.

This is pretty normal in MLB. It happens to several guys every year, and it happened to several guys this year, including Logan.

Even if they would have scratched Logan on Sunday so he could have pitched in the ASG, he would have gotten 1 inning at most tonight.

Maybe Logan's pissed about it. Maybe he's not because he'd rather pitch a game that actually matters than pitch 1 inning in an exhibition game. Who knows?

Like pitching 7 innings in a meaningful game only to get another no-decision because your team can’t score more than zero runs for you?

They knew about his selection on the 8th…they ****** him for nothing. And if he doesn’t get out of here he will have a wasted career just like Felix.

It was a bad move, simple as. You either play him or don't. There's no more need to sugar coat any of this. It's bad managing.
