As for the "goon" reference, I think it's a funny coincidence that I had always heard of Breno as a fierce competitor with a nasty attitude and other such descriptors, then in the game on Sunday, they describe him as our "goon on offense" and now people decide to ride that band wagon. Personally I wouldn't call him a goon myself. I just think he has that mindset that Cable likes to instill in his Linemen and it's that attitude that helps make our line what it can be when everyone is healthy.
"Goon" and "Enforcer" are hockey references... which is how those terms are being used in Breno's case. Every hockey team has a big goon or enforcer who's typically a defender and who typically lacks in great hockey skill, but when there's a message that needs to be deliverd and an ass kickin' that needs to happen, guess who skates off the bench.
I know how they are being used, I just find it funny how they weren't being used until people heard the announcer use it during the Falcons game. Now, I'm sure that there are people who have maybe said it or thought it before the game Sunday, but it wasn't being used much, if at all on this forum before that. Just kind of shows a bit of the way the media influences us when sometimes we don't even notice
