That was my point in a round about way which is why I tried to make the point that he made us all happy in good fun. Keasely took it ultra personal and turned it into a weird Geno rant. When Warner talks, he sounds like someone who had three times as many concussions as he did. Nothing he said in this segment is wrong though, or should even be considered all that controversial. Nearly all the talk about the team's ceiling with Geno is based on hypotheticals of what can be improved around him. All we can do is try to make those improvements and then wait and see if it's enough. The situation will never be perfect for Geno, so the question will be if he can be good to elevate the team above them when they inevitably arrive.
And to answer his "I hope it doesn't hurt too badly when Geno blows up with a new line and running game" No one is rooting against Geno and I hope if he's the guy he throws for 35 touchdowns and lights it up. Why people make this personal or a us vs them debate is wild to me. I hope as much as anyone he improves on his 1 TD and 1 INT per game stats too and he better if he's back next year.
