KK's offense in a nutshell.

* Balanced run first attack
* Outside zone running lanes
* Play action/motion
* Misdirection
* Passing- attack middle field
* Deep shots to stretch defense
* Scheme to strength of players
* Fundamentals & execution
* FB

With the addition of Kupp and 9 of 11 draft picks on offense, I'd say Kubiak will have some nice options at his disposal.
Our success will depend on the OL and Kubiaks playcalling abilities.
We should be pretty jacked-up about this new O, I think they might even take some pressure off our defense.

It's interesting that an OC can be a good one but yet still call a bad game. Calling the right plays at the right time is a big part of being a good OC. I hope he is one of the better ones that we've had in awhile and if so, we can keep him around for at least a couple seasons.

Why did he switch jobs so fast? It's an honest question...year here; year there. Seems like someone would have extended him.

What I want to see is more 1st downs and longer drives. The key to that for me is how well we do on first and second down. If you are repeatedly in 3rd and long situations, your 3d down percentage is going to suffer. I don't care who you are, that's just basic football math. I really want a running game that can get 4 yards on 1st down more often than not.

Klint's father Gary Kubiak and Mike Shanahan have strongly influenced his offensive scheme. KK has 10 years in the NFL as an offensive assistant in different capacities, but only two years as an OC/playcaller.

2021 Vikings.
Ranked 11th in points per game and 12th in both yards per play (5.7) and yards per game (363). But the Vikes had a low 36% success rate on 3rd down which was 26th in the league.

2024 Saints.
The 24' Saints ranked 23rd in passing yards and 14th in rushing yards per game. They tied for 24th in points scored per game (19.9).

I think with 9 of 11 draft picks on offense> Zabel, Arroyo, Horton, Martinez, Ouzts were to give this offense a boost and open up Kubiaks playback out the gate.
Like Falco said above, a lot will depend on his play-calling.
