Besides him being the weakest link on LB, he also could be going to prison one month from now. Shaquem is No. 2 and no one has any idea what he can do.
I'm not saying start him necessarily, I'm saying he should at least be rotated if only in garbage time to see what he has. Shaquem has been here as long as Kendricks and he either is good enough to put into that role at this point or we need to find someone who is.
This seems far more reasonable than hoping Kendricks will both magically improve and then just get community service for crimes that could cost him 25 years. Putting Shaquem out there for downs of their choosing is also more reasonable than having to start him cold.
I've wondered why they haven't already done this, and I think a significant factor has to do with Shaquill and their human interest story. Having someone in a No 2 spot that you won't play but can't get rid of because it'll piss off his No. 1 sibling over a third-grade pact is even more unrealistic than the above.
We need a plan, and that's my idea. Thoughts?
