I, for one, am excited that we could get Kearse back, we need him!
As stated, I think we could win without him, but it's certainly only a positive that he's back and available. Thankfully we have the rare head coach who doesn't let himself get shackled by silly notions of having to put a guy back in for reps unless he's still the best guy to get those reps.
The silliness I was referencing is when a starter goes out, and a backup goes in and outperforms him, at which point many an old school coach goes, "Well, you can't lose your job due to injury" and reinserts the starter in his old spot in a move that can only be described as a coach doubling down on his initial decision. Thankfully Pete doesn't operate that way.
