I'm not sure he can do this part in bold. If he can get humble he is absolutely worth a shot - but humble does not currently appear to be in his lexicon.
Totally fair, there's always that large part missing of not actually knowing the guy, we didn't know Marshawn either other than Buffalo Wild Wings and Hennessey lol bless him. Definitely a gamble and would require a very thorough conversation and feel for the guy, very clear vision of how to give him his clean slate and what you expect him to do, etc.

I will add that we have enough strong vets in the room to handle a bigger personality, as well, if they find a mutual respect it's game on.

bleacher report

"Projected Trade Value: 2026 2nd-Round Pick

Kayvon Thibodeaux was the fifth overall pick in the 2022 draft and still possesses elite upside. The question is whether he has a future in New York with Brian Burns under contract through 2028 and rookie Abdul Carter on a rookie deal through at least that season.
Thibodeaux is already extension-eligible and is set to play on the fifth-year option in 2026.

The Giants could look to cash in the 24-year-old before the trade deadline if they can't start stringing some wins together. Sunday's overtime loss to Dallas is the sort of game that teases a breakthrough, but if New York doesn't actually get one, big changes could be coming.
Since helping guide the Giants to the playoffs in 2022, head coach Brian Daboll has gone 9-27.

Trading Thibodeaux to a contender this year could give New York the sort of draft capital that would be extremely valuable for a new, rebuilding front office."

Looks like the Packers are already set, I understand we have people to pay as well, but this makes sense to me, as a real possibility.
