Another low scoring Mariner win. Munoz with a 5 out save, working through the heart of their batting order.

Nice to see the hitters tack on a couple of runs in the 8th/9th. Keeps the win for Woo, who had to leave in the 6th because of the umpire delay.

On the road for a couple of tough series in Bal and NY, followed by Wash. Long road trip with not a lot of rest.

whats with Munoz being used for 4-5 out saves?
it seems to work better than 3 out saves in his case..

Necessity with Brash out for the season. We don't have anybody else that can do what he does right now.

Going forward, we'll be having to look out on this one so we don't wear him out before the Sept/Oct run. Hopefully they find some rest and some normal work come June/July.

We've been playing some of the best teams in both leagues over the last few weeks.

I saw on 710 they were saying that someone like Woo later in his career if injuries kept biting would be ideal for a bullpen/closer position due to the stuff he has.

I'm guessing one of the pitchers gets dealt later in the season for quality bats but if they didn't and we got some more bullpen injuries or Woo keeps getting niggling injuries I wonder if they would consider that with Woo and put Hancock as the 5th starter.
